About this policy

This policy explains how FTBLL handles information when you visit ftbll.online, use reactions and saved items, subscribe to news updates or contact us. For privacy questions and requests, write to support@ftbll.online.

Information we use

When you subscribe, we save your email address, the language selected on the website and the date your subscription was created. If the form offers topic or delivery preferences and you choose them, we also save those choices. A subscription creates an internal subscriber record; it is not a public profile.

If you like, dislike or save an item, we store the selected action and its connection to a randomly generated browser identifier. The same news item has shared counters across the English, Russian, Spanish and French versions. Your email address and browser identifier are not shown with those counters.

Requests to the website may appear in technical logs. They can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status and browser or device information supplied with the request. These logs help diagnose errors and protect the website.

If you email us, we receive your address and the information you include. Please send only the details needed to answer your question.

Why we use this information

We use subscription details to manage your request for FTBLL news in your chosen language. We use browser identifiers and saved actions to retain your selections, maintain counters and reduce repeated votes from the same browser. Technical information is used to operate and secure the website. Contact details and correspondence are used to respond to requests.

Subscriptions are voluntary and depend on your consent to receive FTBLL updates. Security measures serve our interest in keeping the website available and preventing abuse. We do not use subscription addresses for unrelated advertising or sell them to advertisers.

News subscriptions

News delivery is being prepared. The website already accepts and saves subscriptions, but regular news emails are not being sent yet. We will use the saved address for the updates you requested when delivery begins.

You can withdraw your request now by emailing support@ftbll.online. When news delivery starts, the emails will include a way to unsubscribe. Reading the website or accepting functional cookies does not subscribe you to emails.

You do not need to provide an email address to read the public website. Withdrawing a subscription does not remove access to those pages.

Cookies and saved actions

FTBLL uses a first-party cookie with a random browser identifier to retain reactions and saved items. Its lifetime is up to 365 days and is renewed when you return to the website. Cookie renewal is separate from email subscription consent.

These choices normally remain available in the same browser across language versions. Another browser, a private browsing session or deletion of the cookie may create a new identifier. Removing a cookie does not automatically remove server-side records or reverse previously recorded counters. Details are available in the cookie policy.

Who can access information

Information is available to the people maintaining FTBLL and to technical service providers where needed to host and operate the website. The website is hosted by Beget. Hosting infrastructure processes requests and stores website data. Google Tag Manager is loaded on public pages to manage measurement tags and may receive technical request data when it loads. Your email provider also processes the messages you exchange with us under its own terms.

We do not publish subscribers’ addresses or individual browser identifiers. Information may be disclosed where required by an applicable legal obligation or where necessary to investigate abuse and protect the website.

When you open a source link or another external website, that website handles your visit under its own privacy policy. A link to an external source does not give that source our subscription list.

How long information is kept

Subscription details are kept while your subscription request remains active. If you withdraw it, the address is removed from the active mailing audience; a limited record may be retained where needed to prevent unwanted resubscription, document the request or meet an applicable legal obligation. You can also request deletion of your subscriber record.

Server-side records of saved items and reactions are kept to provide those functions and maintain counters. Their retention is separate from the lifetime of the browser cookie. You can remove individual saved items and votes through the interface, or ask us about deletion of records associated with your browser.

Technical logs and correspondence are retained for the period needed to resolve requests, maintain security, investigate incidents and meet applicable obligations. The period depends on the purpose, hosting settings and any unresolved incident. Deleted data may remain in restricted backups until those backups are replaced; it is not used for new mailings.

Your choices and requests

You can ask about the information we hold about you, request a copy, ask for correction or deletion, withdraw subscription consent, or raise an objection or restriction request where those rights apply. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority.

Send requests to support@ftbll.online. For a subscription request, use the subscribed address where possible. We may ask for the minimum additional information needed to find the record and avoid disclosing someone else’s data. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

Withdrawal of consent applies to future use and does not change the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Deletion may be limited where information must be kept for an applicable obligation or a specific unresolved claim.

Security and changes

The website uses HTTPS and access controls for its administrative functions. We aim to limit access to personal information to the people who need it to maintain the service or answer requests.

This policy will be updated when the way the website uses information changes, including the launch of news delivery or the addition of analytics or advertising services. The latest version and its update date will be available on this page.
