Germany will have a new captain for their UEFA Nations League match against Serbia in Munich, the DFB has confirmed. Regular captain Joshua Kimmich is absent from the squad for the next two internationals. None of the players selected has previously captained the national team, meaning the Serbia fixture will mark a first in the role for whoever leads Germany out.
