Team history
Albania qualified for EURO 2016 and EURO 2024, making a place in the European finals a repeatable achievement.
Armando Sadiku scored Albania's first finals goal in the 1–0 win against Romania in 2016. Eight years later, Nedim Bajrami struck against Italy after just 23 seconds, setting a EURO finals record. Albania did not reach the knockout stage on either occasion, but both tournaments supplied milestones beyond qualification itself.
