Portugal have risen two places to fifth in FIFA’s 7 October ranking after winning all four Nations League matches. Spain remain first, France third and England fourth. Switzerland climb to twelfth and Greece to 41st.
The next ranking is due on 18 November. EURO 2028 qualifying draw seeding uses the Nations League’s interim overall ranking, rather than this FIFA list.
